All simple, nice sounds with a hint of dark, creepiness occasionally. When I say a hint, I really do mean a hint though! A few songs gave me slight goosebumps (a good sign). Check out 3, 5, 6, and 8 or any of the others…FCC clean
1. Mourning Doves (2:03)- Instrumental. Ringing acoustic guitar, crackling static bells, synthesizer, harmony, string plucking. Warm combination of sounds
2. Soul On Fire (4:12)- Synthesizer arpeggios, echo-y vocals with harmony, simple beat
**3. New Jamb (4:56)- Upbeat drumbeat start with cello and winds interrupting. Drums come back in with vocals. Slightly dark sounding.
4. Prophet Songs (4:01)- acoustic guitar, chill drum beat, and synth horns (I think). Repeating “We don’t have to be alone anymore” at the end
**5. Off the Rails (4:12)- Acoustic strumming. Interesting chord progression. Creepy synth later replaced by electric guitar. Gave me goosebumps
**6. Hungry Bears (3:58)- Plucking bass intro. Vocals sound sorta like on the intercom. Buzzy synth that becomes cleaner and more star-like
7. St. Mark (3:07)- Choir intro. Very pretty sounding with one minor note in the phrase
**8. Tired Birds (3:32)- Pop-y beat. Deep and falsetto vocals an octave apart. Chorus airy. Ending repetitive that just ends abruptly
