MAINSTREAM/LATIN JAZZ – Pianist Bill O’Connell leads a jaunty session of mostly original tunes, joined by a rotating cast of Latin-jazz and straightahead musicians. A nice session with a light atmosphere.

2. 5:55 – jabbing theme, then quick, hard-swinging rhythm for punchy solos
