UK indie rock, girl fronted/vocaled, brings to mind softer Pixies songs, The Swirlies, Helium, i.e. mid 90’s birth of indie including other 4AD styled indie pop rockers, Throwing Muses, Mary Lou Lord, etc. Pretty stuff, nothing harsh but nothing saccharine coated or gratuitous. Just good guitar playing, lush, with pleasant long phrased vocal melodies. Choose any track really.
