Motor City Drum Ensemble (MCDE) is the brilliant DJ-Producer Danilo Plessow from Germany. Danilo was a guest at KZSU (on Holt's show) in summer 2010. MCDE's music encompasses decades worth of music, from soul, disco, jazz, funk, house, and techno. Even though he's only 25 years old, Danilo demonstrates his knowledge of the roots of dance music by crafting this mix-CD using all these styles. This is an incredible mix CD. All songs are great. If you like soul, try tracks 1-5, if you like house, try 6-10, and for vintage beats, try 14-15 & 17-18.
