Ahh, finally a chance to get all those golf puns out of the way. Tiger & Woods are more than just a dubious name, however. The mysterious duo samples disco, funk, and soul, runs it through a ton of electronics, and presents a compelling mix groovy house. Tip!
FCC: Clean Try: 9, 8, 3, 5
1) 7:05 Light and wobbly. Female vocal samples competing for your attention
2) 6:47 Straight up disco. Light piano action, a touch of strings, too
3) 6:46 * More tension, deeper beat. Samples are all minutely sliced and reassembled, hints of male vocals somewhere in the mix
4) 7:30 Loose disco rhythm transitions to a glittery explosion of old school vibes. A good contender for a hands in the air-moment
5) 7:31 * Chopped up disco sample, bouncy bass line. Keyboard stabs
6) 8:51 Slower and deeper, soft female vocals. Doesn’t really justify its 9 minutes
7) 6:27 Cheesy male vocal sample. Glam-disco? Upbeat and blissful
8) 6:52 * Sharp, tight guitar loop. Excellent drop into bouncy house. Gotta love it. Cuts abruptly!
9) 8:09 ** Shameless disco samples, but oh so good. Funky, cheeky, and plain irresistible. Cake at 3:30, fireworks at 6.
10) 7:09 Boney M turned up a notch or two. Extravagant and discoish
