Slow, swirling dream pop without the fuzz. Pretty high pitched female vocals, sleepy and melodic. It's all very contemplative, from mid to low tempo. The instrumental arrangements are nice, hi-fi, and mellow; there is a persistent and ambient synth throughout that acts as a sort of pillow to dampen the vocals and guitars. Beautiful pop music; perfect for Autumn.
I like 4, 3, and 2
RIYL: Seapony, Au Revoir Simone, Julianna Barwick, Tamaryn
1. Soft xylophones and snare drum beat; violin later. It brings a slightly dance-y feel between the instrumentals and snare drum beat.
2.* Sparse combination of piano, ambient synth, and female vocals. A violin joins later. Prettiest track
3.* fade-in sample. Peaceful and pop-y with ebbing waves of melody. Lots of wordless singing. Slow but dramatic
4.* Melodic chimes. Slow, languid, and delicate instrumentals meet catchy and slightly jangly (if they weren't so slow) vocals. Favorite track
5. Piano and vocals only with a bit of ambient synth later. For the most part, she sings over or with the piano. It has the benefit of simplicity though I think the loss of instrumentals is too much
