Debut (2010) release from Italian 3-piece of guitar, bass, drums. Poppy, peppy, upbeat sounds. Definite Beatles influence, a bit of Black Keys, some Joe Jackson. FCC #11.
*My Favorites*: 1, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13.
1. *(3:06) Mid. Upbeat, airy and peppy pop w/ cool percussion, backing vocals.
2. (4:16) Mid. Island sounds, very ‘outdoorsy’ mood, ends w/ steel drums, kids on beach.
3. (2:54) Mid. Stop-start phrasings, plodding beat, reggae-ish but not, Green Day-ish but not.
4. (2:32) Slow / MId. Laid-back, steady beat, backing vocals, horns.
5. *(3:28) Slow / Mid. Very sparse, ethereal, gets to a marching beat. Beatles-ish, very cool.
6. *(3:38) Mid. Guitar-led w/ heavy beat and bass. More Beatles-ish stuff. Catchy.
7. (2:23) Mid. Strong piano, strong beat, wah-wah guitar, harmonizing.
8. (2:43) Mid. Acoustic guitar, keys, high register vocals. Big beat.
9. *(2:42) Mid. Upbeat, backing vocals, cool guitar.
10. *(3:08) Mid. Fades in. Rollicking, fun, cool swirling keys, killer beat.
11. (2:24) Mid / Fast. FCC. Ska piece, really driving.
