From Slovenia of all places: Hipster blues, a lot of “front-porch” howling on the harmonica, sloppy, garbage can feel, sung through a cheap mic thing. Minimal. For fans of Bob Log III/Doo Rag, Jon Spencer’s Blues Explosion, Royal Trux, Pussy Galore, Slim Cessna, Old Time Religion. “Gonna go downtown, gonna see my girl, gonna sing her a song, gonna show her my ding dong”. Radio Student records is a German radio station that’s is obviously TRULY dedicated to music.
