Dream pop/shoegaze boy and girl duo. Their music is incredibly light and calm, almost minimalistic, using nothing but strumming guitars, floaty synths, and surfy guitar riffs. This is a four-song sample from their actual full debut album, Lights Out. They’re a duo, but it seems like the girl sings more in this album; I actually want to hear more of the guy’s voice. NO FCCs. RIYL: Girl in a Coma. Favorites: 3!!!, 2
1. (2:54) Mid/Fast. Surfy, light, and upbeat. Light acoustic strumming interspersed with loud guitar riffs. Watch out for your levels.
2. (4:22)* Slow. Calm, wistful, and rueful.
3. (4:26)*** Slow. Melancholic. Tugs at your heartstrings. Sad synths and simple guitar strumming gives a sad and longing feeling. Guy’s voice becomes more prominent on this one. Really love this song.
4. (4:08) Slow. Peaceful and semi-upbeat. Also minimalist: just strumming and their dreamy voices.
