Simplicity. If you are looking for slick indie rock or high powered Nashville/Austin roots look elsewhere: Genuine and sincere southwest flavored guitar/bar rock, tinges of Tex Mex, blues, and rock. Guitar bass drums and Farfisa organ. Pleasant vocals with harmonies, heartfelt real-man lyrics about love and loss. Fans of Sir Doug Quintet, Creedence, the Raspberries, Roy Orbison, good (dark) songwriting, sincere feelings, simple Southwest desert sunsets, big plates of Mexican food and drinking Tecate in the bed of a pickup truck cutting mesquite.
1) (2:33) upbeat 12 bar tex mix
2) (2:55) lovely soaring guitar and melodies, very 70’s pop with a genuine hook
3) (3:01) very 70’s pop feel with nice guitar but lyrics are DARK, suicidal contemplative, make cobain sound like Rafi
4) (3:35) upbeat rock beat
5) (3:12) 12 bar rock with 60’s organ
6) (2:35) sorta cheesy
7) (4:22) love song about being away from the one you love, cheesy and simple and beautiful
8) (3:24) upbeat
9) (2:13) this guy writes some DARK stuff: this is drop dead lovely “wish this day was over yesterday”, the bright melodies and tone betray the lyrics
10) (3:23) a sad/hopeful song “she found somebody new (but you can too)”
11) (3:03) deep bad assed swing, Tommy Bolin smarm, echoed vocs, a different vibe here for sure
12) (4:26) power ballad feel, triplet slow dance waltz “wont you hold on to real love”
13) (2:00) simple jangley, pretty love song, again sad as hell, desperate love
14) (1:42) upbeat
15) (3:12) another simple song
