Rich and dense nocturnal ambient-drone. Ki Oni is the solo project of Chuck Soo-Hoo, who is a staff member and DJ at the great LA-based online radio station dublab. These two longform tracks evoke dazed nighttime awe. They're built from many layers of glimmering synths, and a heavy drone undertow carries them along. Great for summer reveries. RIYL Emeralds, Gas, Ana Roxanne, Patricia Wolf, KMRU, Constellation Tatsu, bladerunnercore. Both tracks are gorgeous. No words, no FCCs.
