This album was recorded in one day with no overdubs and just plain kicks ass. This duo from Canada play Americana-type stuff: blues, country, folk, rock with Anderson on guitar and Stevens on harmonica. Some Taj Mahal influence running through it. Fantastic blazing numbers as well as some beautiful ballads. Highly recommended. No FCC’s.

*My Favoites*: All.

1. (4:06) Mid. Guitar, harmonica workout with solid vocal. Sparse and strong.
2. (2:56) Mid. Take-off on Robert Johnson’s ‘They’re Red Hot’. Upbeat with insane harmonica.
3. (5:08) Slow. Nice ballad, really slow, sparse and sweet.
4. (3:32) Fast. Urgent with chopped harmonica, blazing acoustic guitar. Killer.
5. (4:53) Slow. Has a Western film styling with minimal guitar, minimal harmonica.
6. (3:44) Mid. Galloping porch song, light and free.
7. (4:47) Mid. Easy-going, reminiscent of Taj Mahal, harmonica shines.
8. (4:03) Slow. A simple and beautiful ballad. Wow.
9. (2:39) Mid. Upbeat and rolling, deep blues harmonica. Yeah.
10. (7:12) Fast. Blazingly quick guitar, harmonica, ends with 1:30 remaining.
11. (7:17) Mid. INSTRUMENTAL. Easy-pace with guitar amp blowing up at the end.
