Chris Carrier is a producer from France. He had a huge year in 2010 with his album Gosse De Paris on Robsoul. Chris has been making beats since 200) and his production keeps on getting better and better. With tracks out labels and Silver Network, Hudd Traxx, Catwash Records, and Adult Only, Chris has shown he is one name to keep an eye on. All tracks are good but definitely try #5,#4, and $2
1) Planet Patrol (Dub) is a funky lil jam with a dope baseline and nicely placed drops. This is a good track to overlay an acapella with or use as a transition record.
2)Planet Patrol (original) is just like track #1 but with a nice lil 80s hip hop vocal sample that reminds me of the good ol days.
3) The Matt Tolfrey & Sam Russo Remix is a nice remix of the original track Street Talk. Scattered voice samples and solid baseline keep the track moving.
4) Street Talk (original) is the funk! Baseline and solid groove start the track. About halfway thru the track it drops and gets the crowd moving. There are scattered hip hop samples thru the song and some nice drum programing throughout the tracker.
5)Sweet Cookie is one of my favorite tracks on the EP. This is something out of the 80s. Rolling baseline and disco samples will have a dancefloor underneath its spell. Male vox and Female Vox samples are throughout the track. This is a standout on the EP.
