Seyhan Müzik Yapim (2012) ALL TRACKS FCC CLEAN Reviewed by Abu Ramses
This is the 5th abum of Asli Hünel, daughter of an Iraqi Arab mother and a Turkish-Albanian father born in the historic Fatih district of Istanbul. She has a deep, husky, mezzo-soprano voice. The album consists of ballads and torch songs based on Turkish folk & eastern musical styles with some western instrumentation & rhythm known as “Arabesk” in Turkey. Something like Portuguese fado.
