Dude, Moodymann rules. He's produced a lot of 12"s over the years, and this is a really nice full-length album of beats. He's got this knack for making bass-heavy, techno-driven house that's simply slammin' and funky at the same time. There's definitely flavors of Detroit & Chicago in this CD. You can't go wrong here. Try: 1,2,5,7,8

1. Signature rolling & driving bass, tech-y flavor with spacey sci-fi synth blurps and an abstract sax. Sudden breakdowns give a chance to breathe.
2. Dirty funky disco, nasty electro funk grooves, with conversations recorded from a basement party
3. Sci-fi meets Miami electro-bass. Booty-shaking but also kinda out there too.
4. Long intro w/ breathy soul vocals - goes into pumpy jazz-influenced house w/ scats
5. Soulful deep deep house w/ R&B vox - expressive and really speaks to that old-school sound
6. Groovy & Soulful chillout track w/ R&B vox and jazzy flute
7. Chunky & funky house with boompty beat & a female vocal "shong" sound - extremely catchy
8. Similar remix to 7 very chunky, groovy and features the little "shong" sound
