Tiger High / “Myth is This” / Trashy Creatures Records
Distorted rocky poppy goodness! Pretty basic but nice male vocals, guitars, drums. Lots of effects, distorty sound, occasionally evokes sounds of different decades, but super subtly. These guys have apparently played in a bunch of other bands, and it shows - not a completely original sound, but solid music, catchy tunes, good production. Grabs you right from the first track. Any would be fine to play, but favorites noted.

1. *4:08 Fabulous opener, midtempo, slight 50s tinge, aching vocals, aaaahs, distorted everything, great! (~8sec of silence @end)
2. 3:49 Uptempo, basic pop rock, bit of a 70s beat about 1:30 through, with hair-band esque vocals.
3. *4:15 Takes about 20sec to really start, slow steady beat, distorty, slightly dark, bit of a recent-Radiohead-single feel to it.
4. 6:16 Quiet until about 40sec in, then uptempo, long instrumental stretches, minimal vocals. Last min mostly noise.
5. 3:33 Instrumental. Solid mid beat, steady repetitive distorted guitar.
6. 4:39 Sunny sound, midtempo, vocal harmonies. Tempo changes, big sound.
7. 3:01 Mid/uptempo, toe-tappin, catchy chorus.
8. 4:54 Slow beginning, builds. Big dramatic vocals, sounds a bit like an updated 80s rock ballad live. Last 35sec feedbacky distortions.
9. 3:00 Builds up, uptempo, plodding beat, catchy rocky, guitars shreddy at times.
10. *3:28 Nice mid beat, nice vocal melody in verse, touches of 70s wah, beachy guitars. Nice!
11. *2:27 Uptempo summer pop, echoey, sunny, boardwalk dance party!
12. 3:00 Midtempo, poppy, nice positive, updated 50s sound, solid.
