Avant-garde mastermind Zac Nelson brings us another doozy, this time a cassette on Goldtimers Tapes. Really bizarre, transcendental stuff that defies categorization. In short, this is just plain brilliant, dense and active experimentation with synths and percussion. May induce synesthesia in some listeners. For fans of Crystal Hell Pool, Physical Demon, Blue Sausage Infant, plus a bunch of other stuff on Debacle and Bathetic.
The tracks on each side aren’t split up, so you get the real cassette experience on this burned CD-r (I’m assuming we have HYPRK to thank for this—you rule, dude!)

1. (27:49) futuristic Inca shaman ritual, plus some warped disco synth and tribal percussion. Then it’s a clanging barrage of hallucinatory drum circle insanity, which subsides under calm tides of ambient bliss, rises again, recedes…
2. (27:18) a dizzying blur of synth effects and harmonic textures, almost like Flying Lotus without beats, soon fades into a glittery ambient kaleidoscope. On the next track, windchimes and marimbas whisper from forgotten dungeons, soon joined by submarine ghost whispers.
