One half of local dronesters Barn Owl

Perfectly named. This could easily be a soundtrack to one of Cormac McCarthy's books. Bleak barren desert scrub land. Restrained and brooding, yet inexplicably appealing. Its spirit lies hidden behind countless veils of mystery, yet it beckons you to come forward and find it.. Hypnotic and haunting. My words can't do justice to the dark solitary beauty of this album.

1. (9:25) A piece in three parts. Long tired cowboy gait. Turns solitary and sparse, introspective. Suddenly a rolling gait comes out of nowhere, guitars pick up momentum and wail

2. (6:01) More drone and guitar - early evening dusky stillness. Fake out at -2:30. Layers and layers and layers of quiet guitar haze

3. (5:31) Heart wrenching then picks up only to drone out

4. (5:23) Subtle wailing guitars, overlaid rhythms then drone and tired gait returns

5. (5:47) Quiet, insects chirping, picks up towards the end

6. (8:53) Quiet intro, slow subtle wailing guitar, 5 min through picks up into something that's almost catchy

7. (6:53) Mystic humming, jingling bells, feedback wall then the theme outros
