Aquariusssssss

This is an album you should listen to while doing yoga. Full of soothing synth, dreamy acoustic guitar, harp runs, bird chirping, water noises and crickets, Aquariusssssss does a good job of relaxing and/or putting you to sleep. The majority of the tracks are purely instrumental with multiple internal transitions to new melodies and instrumentation. The stand-out tracks Tears of Transcendence and Sparkling Arch of Existence weave orchestral and electronic sounds in a more effective, experimental way.

1.Mezame (Awakening) – dreamy, atmospheric strings with electronic blips and harp, song transitions halfway through as more urgent clicking and acoustic guitar added
2. Sailing in Concentric Circles – repetitive acoustic melody that floats over electric wind and nature noises, strangely actually sounds like concentric circles
3. Precipitation of Paradise – First vocals on album. Soothing bird chirping, chimes, wind and water noises open before a Rafi-esque melody about rainbows
4. Bath of Breath Crystal Crescendo – quiet harp, flute and bird chirping opening, gradual crescendo as more percussion, muted trumpet, more chimes added, abrupt end
5. “Listening to the Conversation of the Bird…” – spacy, sustained chords, chromatic keyboard runs up and down, pleasant male voice recites a poem about listening to birds
6. Shapeshift of Uranus – jangling bells over a pulsing, spacy synth that occasionally dips into lounge music territory when piano added, becomes darker and more ominous at the end and trails off
7. Trance Elation of Transformance – dramatic cymbal opening, female voice speaks in Japanese over soothing synth and percussion tinkling, trance-like melody over electronic background, then acoustic guitar and vocals break in, ends with bubbling water noises
8. “…and the Fire Dragon dreams.” – transitions directly from previous song, soothing water noises, creaking
wood, cymbals and of course bird chirping
9. Tears of Transcendence – interesting texture of harp, guitar and synth, weave sounds together in a more
noticeable way
10. Yujyou (Friendship) – spacy, more birds, sound repeatedly swells and falls off
11. Sparkling Arch of Existence (Bonus Track) – crunchy cello and distorted, chopped off voice build and transition to electronic melody, snare drum line blends with cello, fades into sea-gulls
