as reviewed by Mister Esquire. indie rock/80's modern rock flashback. nice, pleasant, competent 80's flashback (like say, mgmt channeling a happy interpol channeling a happy joy division. add echo&bunnyman vox knockoff=viola!) worth a few spins. FCC CLEAN. RIYL: echo&bunnymen, happy joy division cum happy interpol, fixx, buncha britty modern rock bands. MR. ESQ. SEZ: MEOW MEOW MEOW MF-(THAT'S ALMOST AN 'E'.) PLAY THESE TRACKS: 2&5. 1. nice, mellow, modern rocky. 2. BEST TRACK II: farfasa start. beachy. got's the jangles. 3. gets electro poppy. dancy. lame, but likable. 4. electro, synthy. building, epicy. very echo. 5. BEST TRACK: starts with answering machine lady w/ brit accent. launches into riff that's a rip of gary numen's 'cars.'...it's fuckin' awesome! | ||
