All distant, airy tunes, like Beach House. Some of the vocals are raspy and whiney like old music from Bright Eyes. Song #2 is a perfect example of the combination of these two styles put together. All very good. Favorites are 1, 2, 8. FCC clean.

**1. Passage (5:40)- slow piano ballad, distance and sad. Builds up, muffled screaming vocals
**2. The Night (4:02)- Weird combination of Beach House-like tune with old Bright Eyes vocals
3. The City (3:50)- Creeping tune with whiney, raspy vocals.
4. White Noise (4:55)- triumphant, grand tune but with more whiney vocals
5. Storms (4:00)- Reminds me of Porcelain Raft with lustful female vocals
6. The Wanting (4:45)- Distance piano tune with raspy vocals. Just out of your reach. Dies out around 22 sec
7. Stars (4:35)- Ominous beginning. Picks up to a rolling, triumphant tune
**8. The Modern Age (4:50)- More upbeat than the others. Beautiful
9. The Cold (3:07)- Just like the title says. Cold, icy tune
10. Sparks of Light (6:35)- Slow fade in. Epitome of lustful vocals. Slow and dramatic. Ends at 13 sec
