“Too Slim” fronts the Taildraggers and this is a solo release playing similar stuff to the Taildraggers - rootsy, bluesy, Americana stuff. He’s based out of Washington state. Slide guitar, harmonica, bass, drums and an appearance by a ukelele. FCC #6. *My Favorites*: 2, 4, 7, 9, 10. 1. (2:59) Slow. INSTRUMENTAL. Sparse and ominous w/ Western Film vibe. 2. *(5:02) Mid. Really nice picking, then strumming w/ cool single notes. Song about songs. 3. (3:32) Slow / Mid. Understated harmonica, nice picking. 4. *(3:05) Mid. Down ‘n’ dirty blues w/ slide work. 5. (2:13) Mid. INSTRUMENTAL. Ukelele w/ some slide guitar. Nice. 6. (4:18) Mid. FCC’s. Plodding beat w/ slide. 7. *(2:23) Mid. Upbeat rockin’ blues w/ harmonica, backing vocals. Cool. 8. (4:25) Slow / Mid. Low-down. Plodding beat w/ harmonica, brushes, picking. 9. *(5:46) Slow / Mid. A bit funky, down-tempo, sparse w/ understated guitar licks. 10. *(3:41) Mid.
