Detroit producer Mike Huckaby’s official dedication to Tresor, the legendary Berlin powerplant-turned-nightclub. Each track corresponds to one of the 3 floors of the original building. It’s a proper tribute, and all tracks bring the heat, but I think the title track really outshines the rest.
1. Heavy-hitting dancefloor beats with energizing piano chords and sweeping panoramic effects.
2. Sweaty, hazy gyratory beats with lots of acid elements.
3. Hard, rigid, angular techno with occasional splashes of synth and deep wobbly effects.
