70's retro glamarage/power pop/
sugar coma bubblegum overload.
redd kross=kings of 70's retro hard cheese!
before there was urge overkill, before there was those pussies jeff the brotherhood, there was...redd kross. and they influenced a ton of people -from sonic youth to nirvana to too many to mention- that hopped on the 70's retroid bandwagon of the early 90's. the kross was originally a shambolic teen punk band, but, like many of their punky peers, turned towards nostalgia and/or wannabee arena rock as the 80's progressed in a downward spiral. (but the kross got it right.)
note: first album in 15 yrs.
MR. ESQ. SEZ: MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW!!!
FCC CLEAN.
RIYL: REDD FUCKING KROSS!, urge overkill, cheap trick, cowsills, shoes, 20/20, knack, archies, brady bunch, jeff the bros, et al.

2.poppy sweet 70's ala cheap trick, shoes, et al.
3. 70's vintage cheese ala urge, baby! get's into edgar winter's 'frankenstein' solo territory (serious.)
4. sunshiny pop that could be either a brady bunch tune, or, that part in 'brain candy' after bruce Mac cullough gets on 'the drug'.
5. 60's/70's pop, ala archies.
6. urge cheese meets archies. handclappy.
7. beatlesesque. rocks!
8. BEST TRACK II:vintage kross, w/lil country.
9. poppy, upbeat bashalong about being sad.
10. most 60's of bunch. fun, but: why end w/this?
