Local noise scenesters George Chen and Steven Santa Maria churn out some brief yet dense soundscapes on this 7” single. Vague, fragile machine humming swirls in a dreary industrial fog. Sounds like a lovechild conceived by Fennesz, Jefre Cantu-Ledesma, and Merzbow (in one of his rare cheerful moods). If you think noise music is all just pointless and pretentious drivel, you are wrong and this is proof of that.

33rpm (I think)

A: Bombastic frigid assault of sound, dreamy and abstract but still bold. Bleak, forbidding buzzing drone.
B: Gentle refrigerator hum, static, and swelling tones; menacing, subtle guitar scraping. Vibrating, brooding. Eerie stuff.
