West Coast cool from this talented trio featuring guitarist Forman, Gabe Noel on bass, and Jake Reed on drums. It’s nicely understated and sophisticated with a warm energy and some top notch playing. A nice blend of standards and originals with the kind of interplay that shows these guys know and trust each other. Watch levels as some of the solos can get really quiet. A nice small club feeling.

*1. Bright and swinging mid/uptemo romp.
2. Slow, delicate ballad that picks up w/a light touch of brightness.
*3. Oh so cool, mostly midtempo, quiet at times but such a nice bit.
4. Relaxed, the bass becomes cello. Gentle and delicate
*5. Nicely swinging guitar w/sweet bass punctuation. Down/midtempo
6. Warm ballad, solid solos from all.
*7. Mid/upbeat w/lively interplays and a bright, happy feel.
8. Slow and quiet, deceptively simple but a lovely melodic sound.
*9. Racing and lively from the get-go. Such a cool, twisting maze.
10. A more upbeat (barely) version of #4. Trading tempos & solos.
*11. Instantly lively w/some excellent work from all. Yummy good.
