Southern Soul Blues Hot Spot-Vol 2 is not your typical compilation CD with a variety of unrelated songs. Southern Soul Blues Hot Spot-Vol 2 is a CD that feels like a well thought out CD project. The CD marks the return of two great icons in the Southern Soul and Blues nation, Pat Brown and Eric Perkins (long time producer of the late great Marvin Sease) and the debut of DeCarlos Bonds, the son of Southern Soul and Blues artist Billy “Soul” Bonds. Willie B (aka “Larry Licker”), along with Rudolf Flye and up and coming RB & company make significant contributions to this compilation CD. Southern Soul Blues Hot Spot-Vol 2 also has two out of print song from the late great Southern Soul and Blues artist, Lee “Shot” Williams.
