Modern jazz with touches of Spain and Latin America. Penas plays both acoustic and electric guitars and is backed by sax, bass, and drums plus a few guests on accordion & piano. Penas was born in Spain, now based in NY and plays with an influence from both.

*1. Mostly mid, a 10 minute wander w/varying tempos. Way cool.
*2. Deliciously bouncy Brazilian-touched bit of sunshine jazz.
3. Slow/midtempo, shows a decided Flamenco touch. Very nice.
*4. Relaxed yet dramatic at first, then lyrical. Great piano solo.
5. Andalusian-infused down/midtempo jam w/cool solos.
*6. Bright tropical choro with a delicious playfulness.
*7. Slow w/nice accordion accents, sweet and warm.
8. Quirky slow intro, band kicks in randomly. Too short.
