Garage punk
Raw, hypnotic, catchy, poppy, wild. If you’ve been touched by the Great SF Garage Awakening (Ty Segall, Thee Oh Sees, et al), you will like this. Favorites: 2, 5. FCC WARNING: 1.
1. (2:44)—FCC WARNING (f***). Slow stomp. BOOM BOOM blown out beat. Group vocals.
2. *(2:58)—Medium-fast, driving. Chorus is a one-chord ceremonial garage flip-out.
3. (4:07)—Slow, trudging. Low-key verses, heavily distorted choruses. The sonic equivalent of dust devils spinning across the desert.
4. (0:42)—Slow, heavy drumbeat. Sound effects, shouting.
5. *(3:21)—Slow, funky, laidback. Nice harmonica and distorted guitar hooks. Ends cold.
6. (1:44)—Slow, pummeling. Like Foot Village featuring Jack White.
