Bad ass (mostly) instrumental synthy rock. Beats and “pop” tunes by the leader of drone/noise collective on this great NC label. Melodic, retro-y, 80s spaced out rock with driving drum machines and sci-fi feel. Weaving hooks and riffs launch off lush, programmed backbones. Eno meets Space Devil meets The Cure meets Blade Runner. Good stuff, check it out. No FCCs.
*1. Synthy space disco drive and distorted bass hum. (3:34)
2. Chimey New Order gaze. Denser, almost like Ratatat. (2:50)
3. Effortless floating ambient. (3:13)
4. Thrashier punky bash. (2:02)
*5. Melancholic cascading leads. Pop gets under your skin. (3:54)
6. Chill, icy expanse before dark mid-plod. (4:45)
*7. Siren synths and intense polyrhythm. Chanting vocals come in. (2:50)
8. Melancholy slow but sweet. (3:24)
9. Slower, bubbly electronics and drone. (2:45)
*10. “come on, come on” moody dance beat and enveloping hooks. Definitely RIYL if you like old New Order. (3:32)
11. Slow uglier plod, buried vocals, atonality. Great. (5:07)
