One 38 minute, ambient bliss out by the 12k crew, working collaboratively. The five (label head Taylor Deupree, Tomoyoshi Date, and KZSU slayers, Simon Scott, Marcus Fischer and Illuha) recorded this live, in Oct 2012, during a 12k tour of Japan. Was a special release for 12k on 12/12/12 (naturally). Plenty of field recordings, vinyl crackle, sustained drones, distant pads, washes of relaxation. Beautiful hazy dreams. I’ve found my next lullaby. Fans of Eno, Budd, Basinski, and 12k take note.
