Eighth release from Florida-based band continuing on the Southern rock / bluesy / R&B / soulful vibes they’ve been playing for years. Lots of horns and organ w/ some nice elec gtr and strong vcls by JJ. Strong stuff. No FCC’s. *My Favorites*: 1, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10. 1. *(3:10) Mid. Down ‘n’ dirty Southern rockin’ blues. 2. (4:40) Mid. Soulful struttin’ R&B vibe w/ horns, organ, gtr. 3. (4:22) Mid. Upbeat, easy R&B, soulful and bluesy. 4. *(4:52) Mid. Easy rocker w/ horns, organ, nice vcl. 5. *(4:54) Slow / Mid. Beautiful, heavy lyric ballad. 6. *(5:08) Mid. Funky soulful strut w/ killer rhythm section. 7. (5:02) Mid. Easy-going soulful rock, picks up near end. 8. (5:22) Slow / Mid.
