Lively African music with a retro feel. Great percussion, sax, clarinet, flute, bass, and especially good vocals. Feel good sounds by a solid and talented band. It’s all worth at least one star. Flip a coin and play at random, you can’t go wrong. Founded in NYC by Griot-guitarist mamady kouyate.
1. Bright and bouncy w/a sweetly driving energy.
2. Hot percussion from the get-go, then a bit more relaxed. So cool.
3. Playful midtempo and bright w/catchy female vocals.
4. Light and bright fun w/a joyful air & way cool solos from band!
5. Mid/upbeat head nodder w/a light touch and happy air.
6. Relaxed, nicely arranged with layers of horns, perc, e-bass/guitar/vox
7. Instantly catchy and fun, a smiling little wiggle.
8. Great perc, soaring vox, cool squeaky clarinet. Mid/uptempo.
