Infectious psyche pop, rockin but playful, taps into new energy, doesn’t rely on the same old same old retro garage/psyche recipes. Not failing on the dance floor, I can see the girls shaking their booties as well as the boys head banging to this. Guitar bass drums recipe but with flute thrown in, lots of fuzzy psyche reverb and good boy/girl vocals. What makes this band stand out is their sense of rhythm: lots of good hip shakin, not just sinking in to typical straight up retro beat, but incorporating the best of funky 70’s nods just plain fun stuff. What a great band! Fans of T-Rex, Thin Lizzy, Yardbirds, Zombies all in a vitamix will loooove.
1) (1:45) retro rocking jangle psyche
2) (2:52) retro intact but a good hip shaking beat, with a halftime triplet space bridge to die for
3) (3:51) upbeat and “fun” feel, friendly
4) (2:23) 70’s rock feel to this, nice simple rockin
5) (2:01) another hip shakin beat makes this one stand out, great stuff, can see the girls dance in their go go boots
6) (3:06) slower, dreamy, swaying
7) (3:10) pop beat, with cool ascending/descending scales, 70’s flavored flute, lovely
8) (2:03) sweet surfy retro ballad with reverb drenched girl vocs in French
9) (2:17) big swingy beat, nice
10) (2:19) beatles’y upbeat fun with a Thin Lizzy brief guitar lead, epic
11) (2:23) if youre looking for the balls out garage rocker heres the track
12) (2:16) a slight carribeo-Clash rhythm to this, another different feel, nice
