Lebanse born Yasmine Hamdan made her impact on the alternative music market in Lebanon as part of the duo ‘Soapkills.’ She then went on to work with Marwais as Y.A.S., releasing her ‘Arabology’ album in 2009. This is her first solo album and it has been internationally released with some old songs and several new bonus tracks. 1. Deny: Slow track with acoustic guitar 3:26. 2. Shouei: Breathy vocals, trance-like track 3:35. 3. Samar: Nice beat, jolly song in Gulf dialect 3:28 *4. Enta Fen, Again: ‘Where are you and love?’ Egyptian dialect 3:11 *5. La Mouch: Old Egyptian song revived 3:28 6. Nediya: Experimental sound, slow at first then crescendo 3:55 7. Beirut : Lebanese dialect ; breathy tribute to a great city 3:32 8.
