(CLEAN) Hannibal Stax & Marco Polo “46 Bars of Death” (Soulspazm Records) Straight out of Brooklyn, GangStarr Foundation member Hannibal Stax teams up with Marco Polo for this declaration of dopeness which, as the song’s title suggests, is exactly 46 bars of death. Set against Polo’s boom bap heavy, DJ Premier-eque sample and chop technique, with phrased cuts provided by DJ Shylow (whose cuts sound suspiciously like DJ Revolution), this is definitely a hip hop head’s street anthem. | ||
