The Goat “Round Mountain” Label: Red Shield Music Joseph Reviewed 7/14/13 Contemporary folk music featuring interesting instrumentation like accordion, bouzouki, Sousaphone, calabash and horns. Very good vocals throughout. No FCCs detected *= favorite cuts 1 – (4:30) Without Fear Soft, vocal duet with accordion and tenor sax support. 2 – (2:57) Coffee* Spare, laconic lyrics, somewhat bizarre anthem to coffee, leading to Track 3. 3 – (1:40) Doppio Macchiato Rambunctious horns, like Al Hirt. 4 – (5:42) Come to the Garden* Pretty guitar intro, beautiful vocals, Celtic in style. 5 – (3:17) Mama Sweet Mama* Acoustic guitar, mid-tempo, sweet tune. 6 – (4:36) Hundreds of Ships* Nice tempo, prestty images, cool song. 7 – (3:55) Living and the Dying Vocal duet, so-so. 8 – (3:30) Appear to Me* Slow ballad, sweet duet vocals. 9 – (5:25) St. Joseph* Strange acoustic sounds intro, then appealing singing, compelling song. 10 – (3:24) One More Dream to Find Pretty but lightweight. 11 – (3:57) San Ysidro* Soft, easy listening love/nature song. 12 – (5:10) Alight Vocalists include Anais Mitchell.
