Bar brawl knife fight garage punk. Lo-fi, hugely energetic, filled with noise. Blues, rockabilly, and surf are all influences here, and there's some catchy music under all the scum. Song styles don't vary that much; sounds like these guys listened to the Stooges a lot and then bought a bunch of pedals and turned everything the whole way up. Everything unintelligible except the occasional FUCK. Play on Halloween, or any day
RIYL Iggy and the Stooges, Goner Records, In The Red, Coachwhips
1 Loud, distorted, pissed off music for slamdancing; warbled deepthroat mic vox
2 FCC FUCK Hoarse yelling, pounding,
3 FCC FUCK Surfy licks, nice hooks, YOU GONNA DIE
4 FCC FUCK Background feedback+yelling profanities alternate with drums; guitars come in and chug along. Bluesy riffs
**5 Explosion of noise, killer riffs, a couple breakdowns, noisy warped ending ends sharply. Titled "I Have Been Snookumed"
*6 Romping, pounding, heavy; longest track here (~3.5 minutes). Some seriously awesome guitar noise here.
7 Rockabilly licks and noodling behind the wall of sound, pretty catchy
8 About a minute, big drums lead the way with shouting behind them
*9 Straightforward minute, then drums/guitar briefly jam- surprisingly, the band can actually play their instruments
10 This song is called "Hogs Turds" It opens with 15 seconds of background yells and then it's back to the scuz. Surfy poppy solo starts and trails off after about 3 seconds.
11 FCC FUCK Cover of Black Flag's Nervous Breakdown. Pretty straightforward; garagier, louder, sloppier, maybe faster than the original.
12 Echoes and growls open; a midtempo, steady plod with growls continuing. Ending cuts off by about 1/2 a second
13 Cover of Oblivians' Bad Man. Faster, louder; trades some of the pop quality of the original for more noise
