Daedelus- Drown Out Label: Anticon Lots of different ideas going on in this album, but luckily for you, just pick one of the tracks that sounds good to you! Mix of trip-hop, heavy beats, some experimental tracks, and classic dance cuts. FCC clean Picks: 2, 3, 5, 9 ~Mayjahn~ 1. Lost synths meander through quick heavy beats and empty hallways. *2. Faster snares and BPM alongside melancholic synths and discordant chords. Oddly groovy. *3. Heavy, driving, drums until the weird chorale music and synths come in... But it all comes together in the most beautiful way! 4. Anthemic tight drums and pounding bleep bloop sounds. *5. The ebbing sounds of the electronic sirens-- watch out sea farers! 6. An alarm clock, shooting sounds, and a smooth carpet ride, somehow the same. 2Pac’s “I Get Around” sample, with bleeps and bloops. :-( 8. Cool down and warm up along low drums and pleasing synths. *9. Sexy!! Goes into solid beats with synths, with samples of skateboarders. 10. Very nice drumming intertwined with lightly-grating synths 11. Wailing and moaning with twinkling wind-up doll sounds, but muddles with noise Dreamy and windswept, gets angry and claustrophobic. | ||
