Tags: Grindcore, Powerviolence, Hardcore, Maryland, Poland This came out in 2012 when Holy Roar Records pressed 500 copies on 7" vinyl, but it quickly sold out. Now A389 Recordings is re-releasing it -- again on vinyl. If you like interesting organic grindcore and hardcore, then you'll like this. You know what, you deserve a break. Put the CD player into continuous-mode and just play this whole split. It's only 9 minutes. Full of Hell - Powerviolence / Grindcore from Maryland. These guys are considered the reason the split sold out so quickly. 1.) (1:20) Sludgy slow bass and feedback, snare hit!, griiiiiiiiind assault then slows down to groove on a riff 2.) (0:54) Organic grind noise assault, slows down for some good head banging, then spazzes out 3.) (0:30) Trading off low growls and high screams, some psychelic noise in there too! 4.) (1:10) Turbocharged crust / Hardcore. Most accessible song of their set. Calm The Fire - Hardcore / D-beat from Poland. 5.) (3:50) I'm not even sure what to call this. Mid-tempo Metal/Hardcore with some post-punk and dissonant metal tendencies? Lots of change-ups keep things interesting and I like how it kinda sounds sad instead of aggressive at times. This is easily the slowest song on the whole split, but fuck you I like it. 6.) (2:05) D-beat assault that really rips. | ||
