Pixies EP 2 Reviewed by BravoMarco Following up from the previous release EP1, this is a collection of new material from the Pixies in quite a while. Hit and miss for me. Not much of the alternative rock of old on display here. Liking the most: 2 No FCC’s 1) Blue Eyed Hexe (3.11) Full on rock sound, has a screamy element to it. Catchy chorus to head bang to 2) Magdalena (3.25) Softer psychedelic tones to this, still maintains a dark edge though; this takes you on an absorbing Pixies journey. Different class. 3) Blues And Greens (3.47) Journeyman sounds here, soft rock. 4) Snake (3.46) In the same vain as the previous track. Standard rock fare. | ||
