Bluesy punky grungy garage "90s alt" duo of girls from Vancouver. Gritty, loud, dive bar feel, but with some slick production that could probably have them on Live 105 in no time (but hey, you can play them here first). Lead singer has a pretty deep voice that gets distorted a little bit, drums slam all over every track, guitars are loud.

RIYL: Black Keys, White Stripes, Liz Phair, Japandroids

1 (4:16) Pounding drumbeat, jarring garagey guitars, chugs along
2 (3:07) 90s alt rock feel, loud vox and guitars, handclaps w/ drumbeats, "whoa oh oh oh oh"s, catchy
3 (3:33) Big fuzzy catchy blues-garage hit, wah-wah'd guitars
*4 (3:35) Pounding rhythm with some restrained backing voc "ahh"s, snotty
5 (4:00) Big fuzzy classic rock riffs, soaring bluesy vox
*6 (4:50) Romping drums, super fuzzy guit, higher vox alt w/ super reverbed vox
7 (3:31) Straightforward rocker with some heavily reverbed backing vox
8 (3:43) Slow, reverbed, self-deprecating plod with crunchy bits
9 (4:07) Drum chug-focused, heavily effected warbler
10 (3:57) Straightforward rocker, soaring vox, some quiet spots
**11 (2:49) Downbeat, just guitar, countrified, Cat Poweresque, sad existential angst theme, really nice
