Artist: Amigos Album: Diner in the Sky [No FCC detected.] The Amigos describe their music as "accordian-infused Americana" and that is not far from the truth. The music goes long on banjo and harmonized vocals which is sometimes charming and sometimes annoying. #2 and #11 are my favorites on the album 1 (3:36): The sort of music you would hear behind an upbeat video montage in a romantic comedy set in Oklahoma. Sappy country. 2 (3:22): Up-tempo between country and zydeco 3 (3:56): Slow, harmonized, nostalgic 4 (4:36): Smooth acoustic cover of Hendrix classic. If it weren't sacrilege, it would be kinda nice 5 (0:13): In between talkin' 6 (3:23): Twangy n' slow 7 (4:38): Sad slow with reverby sound effects 8 (3:13): Upbeat accordion-driven tune with harmonized vox and pluckin' banjos 9 (0:42): Story-telling talking 10 (5:50): Slow 11 (4:53): Sentimental mellow 12 (2:23): Mid-tempo sentimental with vocals up front 13 (4:16): Mid-tempo twangy | ||
