Lauderdale’s album Blue Moon Junction was co-written w/ Grateful Dead’s lyricist Robert Hunter, and so is this one. Great stuff in the vein of Dave Alvin, Greg Brown, Americana - gritty, mean, rollickin’. Killer throughout. Produced by Luther Dickinson, featuring Luther on gtr, his brother Cody on drums, Sponner Oldham on keys. and Amy LaVere and Shannon McNally of Luther’s band The Wandering. All songs fantastic!!
