Straight up hard bop for tenor sax/trombone/piano/bass/drums. It runs the gamut from Broadway (Younger than Sprintime from South Pacific) to a bluesy air on track 2. Tight playing, strong horns, lots of energy and solid arrangements make this one cool release. Oh yeah…

*1. A bright and tight bounce with a fun, slightly funky air. Crank it!
*2. Nicely bluesy bop with a fun midtempo bounce. Tres hip.
3. Mid/upbeat jam w/some great sounds meeting and melding.
4. Slow romance w/ a sophisticated air. Great piano solo.
*5. Fun bop w/great brass work & tight playing from all. So good!
6. Rogers & Hammerstein classic turned mid. bounce. Nicely done.
7. A hint of bluesy walk to this mid/uptempo jam. Fun.
*8. Warm mid/upbeat jam w/a quirky air and great arrangement, solos
9. Relaxed mid/upbeat groove which showcases all very well.
