Elements of 60’s pop, garage, fuzzy psyche and low-fi surf girl rock. Impossible to nail down but I know Esquire will kick himself for passing this one up. I hear the best elements of The Raspberries, The Rondelles, Magneta Lane, Best Coast, Helium and even ABBA. And it all sounds like it was recorded through an old mic. Amazing CD.
1) (2:53) 70’s power pop garage, Partridge Family Wurlitzer organ
2) (3:14) big walls of fuzz, vocs, guits, mid paced epic, wailing feedback
3)(3:05) joyful upbeat bouncing, echoey and trippy pop, wow
4) (2:24) bouncy almost simple, Best Coast?
5) (2:00) ballady, half time w/ tambourine, pounding, tripped out psyche vocal echo, who needs acid?
6) (2:31) Beatles bouncing pop
7) (2:02) Best Coast rockin pop
8) (3:36) slower swing, big fuzz rock
9) (3:28) cool Motown retro rhythm, Raspberries come to mind
