At first glance this sounds like a Ramones worship band, but further listening reveals twisted elements of Suicide, Beelzebub Youth, Phantom Limbs, Black Flag’s sickest chording. The majority of tracks are cemented in simple beats/guitars, slowly phrased mildly melodic vocals a la The Ramones. All songs are short, punky to the point. As the CD progresses the darker weirder elements rise to the surface and things begin to sound like Suicide, or horror-punk. Irreverent lyrics and themes become more apparent and you realize that this band has some real depth. Have I said “great shit” yet? Track by track below only has descriptions if the songs veer from the Ramones’y flavor. FCCs only on last track (which sounds like something ex-DJ Brick would’ve recorded in his most dense drug addled blur ever).
