These two performers have the perfect pedigree for producing dark, bleak experimental sounds. Menacing at times, yet bringing the listener instant joy & happiness. Exactly what you would expect from Einsturzende Neubauten (Jochen Arbeit) & Huan (Víctor Hurtado)

Both definitely worth playing: 1) More aggressive – 2) More genteel (still harsh though)

No FCC’s

1) I (9.59) A menacing growling start which quickly moves into a delicious sound – Heart beating drums maintain the constant back-story to this vibrant haze of smoldering richness. Mid way through it changes up to an almost Oriental sound before returning to the droned out, guitar fused spectacle. Slows down to an almost helicopter effected experimental sequence.
2) II (8.17) Smoldering sounds to begin with here. Like a soundtrack for an inter-galactic peace process, just before it fails & we’re all doomed. Different feel to the first – more sedate, with psychedelic flourishes. Louder towards the end.
