Sonny Knight cut his first single in 1965, had a hiatus for several years, then played intermittently throughout the years in Minnesota. This is his debut album. Playing absolute kick-ass funky, soulful struttin’ shit. Something Sunshine would’ve played. Horns, organ, bass, gtr, drums. The Real Deal. Not to be missed!!! No FCC’s. *My Favorites*: All. 1. (2:42) Mid. Hard hittin’ w/ audience in background. 2. (2:48) Fast. Full-throttle romp. 3. (2:54) Slow / Mid. Testifyin’ w/ James Brown’s ‘King Heroin’ vibe. 4. (4:07) Mid.
