Second album from Cardiff, Wales band Kutosis. Great summer driving record full of mellow rock and roll with great melodies and a soothing instrumentation. The songs are pretty consistently post-punky or surf rocky so I wont write much about the individual tracks like I sometime do...RIYL: Surfer Blood, Cloud Nothings FCC CLEAN! Recommended Tracks: 1, 2, 4, 10 1. (3:28) The Avalanche Is - Great melody, surfy guitar, steady drums 2. (3:28) Crystal Beach - Dream pop 3. (3:19) Old Judas - Cool drum beat at the beginning 4. (4:15) Horizons - More of a post-punk, Cloud-Nothings-y vibe 5. (3:27) Night Surf - Great base line, distant vocals 6. (4:04) Feel Love - Down temp, surf rock, distortion 7. (3:04) French Canadian Girls - Hard hitting rock song 8. (5:32) Something In The River - Down tempo, darker, psychedelic. 9. (3:21) Short Stories - Down tempo, fuzzy surfy 10.
